Rosebud School of the Arts grads honoured

Rosebud School of the Arts (RSA) celebrates two recent graduates who were honoured with prestigious awards.

Seven emerging playwrights will present one-act plays at the Budding Playwright’s Festival under the mentorship of award-winning playwright Lucia Frangione, known to local audiences for her plays Chickens, Cariboo Magi, and Holy Mo.

Renowned Canadian fiddle champ Scott Woods and his band will play traditional country fiddle music, swing, gospel and more at the Empress Theatre on Friday, May 25 at 7 p.m. 

The Organization of Saskatchewan Arts Councils (OSAC) along with its member Arts Councils the Swift Current Arts Council is proud to present Canadian superstar Jann Arden in concert Nov. 6.

Long Day's Festival will get off to solid start

To start off this amazing festival on June 21st we have The Dead South! The Dead South have been described as outlaws and modern hillbillies, but the best way to describe the Regina-based band is fearless.

For the last show of the season, the Blenders Music Series is excited to present the Slocan Ramblers on Saturday, April 21st at the Lyric Theatre in Swift Current, Saskatchewan. The Slocan Ramblers is Canada’s young bluegrass band to watch!
