Scandia newcomer offering dressage lessons

New to Canada, accomplished rider Pascalle Van Der Kraan hopes to share some of her knowledge of dressage with others.

For the first time, individuals in the City of Brooks and surrounding area are able to learn more about heart failure and feel better equipped to manage their conditions thanks to a monthly class.

Mural project growing in the City of Brooks

Four years ago the Brooks Communities in Bloom committee kicked off a mural project in the city which this year saw the completion of the most murals done to date — seven — making the total in the city 14.

During this year’s County of Lethbridge agriculture tour earlier this month, two stops were made at dairy farms that had new manure liquid separators.

Renovations and changes for Brooks Library

Regular users of the Brooks Public Library likely noticed some changes to the inside of the facility earlier this month.

Work continues towards a new school in Brooks, as the contractor for the Private-Public Partnership has been chosen.
ABC Schools Partnership is the partner building 12  schools in the province, including the one in Brooks.

A natural health and healing expo is a great opportunity for individuals to learn more about alternative healing and natural health options in Medicine Hat and area and for the first time will include a full day of workshops.

Prairie Rose School Division schools are looking to learn through travelling this year. To that end, the board of trustees approved three trip requests at the October 9 regular meeting.
