Eastend writer and editor, Ted Dyck, will be the next featured author at Write Out Loud, on Oct. 21 at the Lyric Theatre.

Writing in a number of genres —poetry, fiction and essay — Dyck has published four books of poetry, some 100 periodical pieces and three edited anthologies.
Dyck offers writing and editing services through WorDoctor and, since 2007, has been editor of Transition, the magazine for the Canadian Mental Health Association, Saskatchewan division.
Dyck asserts he avoids all cliques, clubs, schools, groups, and cults that would have him, but he does admit to other interests including fly-fishing, cross-country skiing, snooker, Bach and Gould, the classical guitar and cognac.
Organizers are looking forward to a multi-faceted and interesting evening with him.
Michael Eckert-Lyngstad, classical guitarist, singer and songwriter, will provide the evening’s musical entertainment, starting at 7 p.m.
Doors open at 6:30 and admission is $8.
Write Out Loud ticket subscriptions are available for $48 for seven tickets, so one event or admission is free.
Whenever a person attends Write Out Loud this season, his or her name will be entered into a draw for a Kobo, to be made at the last event in May.
The more often people attend, the more often they are entered.
The Lyric Theatre is located at 227 Central Avenue North in Swift Current.
