The Canadian Pacific Holiday Train rolled into Swift Current at noon on Dec. 7, providing great entertainment by Valdy and Tracey Brown as well as offering an opportunity for the audience to donate food and money to the local Salvation Army.

Tracy Brown was one of the performers on the CP Holiday Train which pulled into Swift Current Dec. 7.

Other Wednesday stops for the unique fundraising vehicle included Maple Creek, Medicine Hat, Tilley and Brooks.

There was some extra and added motivation for more donations Wednesday as Swift Current’s Capt. Michael Ramsay reported a major theft at the Salvation Army’s office in Swift Current. For more on the story please watch for updates online at www.prairiepost.com.
