Henry Ripplinger, author of The Angelic Letter Series, will be in Medicine Hat and Swift Current for book signing sessions.
Ripplinger has published the first two books in the six-book series — Pewter Angels and Another Angel of Love. He hopes the third book will be ready for distribution early next spring.

At the end of September, Ripplinger was in Edmonton where he was selling his books like hotcakes.

“The response has been excellent,” he says about the love story following the lives of two teenagers who met and were separated by circumstances and parental interference. They are guided through the struggles and victories in their lives by their guardian angels.

Pewter Angels is now into its fourth printing with sales reaching 20,000 copies. Another Angel of Love is in its second printing with more than 10,000 copies sold. Both books are considered Canadian bestsellers.

Ripplinger will be in Medicine Hat at Coles bookstore in Medicine Hat Mall Oct. 19. From 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., he will be signing books and meeting with readers. He will also be at Costco Medicine Hat the next day on Oct. 20 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

He heads to Swift Current for Oct. 22 at the Coles bookstore in the Wheatland Mall from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. He will also be at the Walmart in Swift Current on Oct. 23 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

So far in his touring of the prairie provinces, Ripplinger, who lives in Lumsden, Sask., has found a lot of people purchasing his books for Christmas presents for others. The heart-warming love story is perfect for sharing.

“The real essence of the story’s underlying message is about life lessons,” says Ripplinger.

He takes his characters through various challenges in the hopes readers can learn something from how his characters choose to respond to adversity.

The series will chronicle the “love and adventure in the lives of two people, whose story shows us how angels and the heavens are intricately involved in all our lives and that miracles happen when we follow our hearts,” writes Ripplinger in the preface.
