For those who just can’t wait until the summer series of cowboy poetry and music events, the Taber and District Museum Society is offering up a full day of entertainment March 24 with its15th Annual Cowboy Poetry, Country Music and Western Art Event.

Since debuting in 2009, this extremely talented, traditional Irish band with two critically acclaimed albums under their belt has been in high demand throughout Europe, Canada and India.
On March 15 and 16 at 8 p.m., the Empress Theatre welcomes this exciting young band, “Caladh Nua”, to take the stage with all the rich tradition and sounds of Irish music and the flair of five superb musicians.

A concert requested countless times over by Canadians folk fans is making its way onto the Empress Theatre stage this February during a one-time only Canadian tour.

When Jaiden Panchyshyn started Highland dance lessons five years ago, a trip to Paris wasn’t even on her radar.
However, this past November, the teenager packed her kilt and ghillies then joined her fellow dancers from Calgary, and jetted off to the land of the Eiffel Tower to perform at the International Gathering of Highland Dance showcased at Paris Disneyland.
