Saskatchewan author Dee Hobsbawn-Smith will make an appearance at the Lyric Theatre Jan. 16 as part of the theatre’s Write Out Loud series.

Art Gallery of Swift Current is getting ready to open its first exhibition of the new year Jan. 12, and director and curator Kim Houghtaling is looking forward to another year of presenting interesting, beautiful, and challenging art to the region.
