New murals unveiled in Glenwood

Officials in Glenwood, under the Glenwood and District Economic Development Society, unveiled two of nine murals June 20. Almost 200 people came out to celebrate the unveiling that is part of the Wild Rose Mural Project and enjoy a barbecue and raffle.

Can’t get a better ending than that to a school program.

In recognition of Swift Current’s Centennial year, local artists are presenting artworks in a variety of subjects with their interpretation of the past, present and future of their community.
