Determination and power of the momma bird

As I sit on the deck in my backyard working; writing blogposts, sending emails and creating programs, I am interrupted by incessant chatter and action in the sky.

Artworks in photography and mixed-media collage by artists from Val Marie and Saskatoon will be celebrated at a reception at Val Marie’s provincially recognized ecomuseum Prairie Wind & Silver Sage in Val Marie on June 22 from 7:30-9 p.m.

Students from the Swift Current Comprehensive High School (SCCHS) music department concluded a successful year with their final concert June 6.

“Kids these days can’t do nothin’. I wonder what this world is coming to.”
