Diverse 2016-17 Stars for Sask. Series announced

Season subscriptions are now available for the 2016-2017 Stars for Saskatchewan series presented by the Swift Current Arts Council, and the series promises something to appeal to many tastes.

The depth and diversity of southwest Saskatchewan’s artistic community are on display in the current exhibition at the West Wing Gallery in Swift Current.

Seeing red in the summer

Ever since a farmyard refugee arrived on our doorstep back in June, already two feet tall with strong, flexible limbs, we’ve made countless trips to the backyard, pail in hand, intent on fattening her up for dinner.

Season tickets for the annual Centre Stage Concert Series at the Empress Theatre in Fort Macleod are now on sale and at the affordable price of $150 for six concerts ($25 per person per concert) should go fast.

For the past week I have followed through with my tasks and to-do lists. I have facilitated my fitness classes and private sessions. I have followed up with my emails and connected with my clients. At the same time the deep engine that drives my life was not being nourished.

Lethbridge-based DJ crew and electronic music production company, BassWorks, along with their partners Unified Vibe, 11:11 Live, and B93 will host the fifth Lethbridge Electronic Music Festival (LEMF) on Aug. 13 in Galt Gardens park, Downtown Lethbridge.
