Lee’s Greenhouses owner, Bill Lee, along with other Swift Current businesses, named the Moose Jaw Military Family Resource Centre as the beneficiary of their 3rd annual $1,000,000 Hole in One Texas Scramble.

A plea was made by members of the Southwest Cultural Development Group in regards to efforts to raise matching grant finds for the Lyric Theatre:

The Rick Hansen 25th Anniversary Relay will arrive in Swift Current on February 13, 2012.  “One of the most exciting benefits of hosting an End of Day Celebration for the Relay is the opportunity for our community to recommend the Final Community Participant who will carry the Rick Hansen Medal into our celebration,” said Denise Barbier, Swift Current Celebration organizer.
