Raymond High School annual show a success

The Raymond High School Choir’s annual spring show was a blooming success the week of April 2-7.
This year’s show was “That’s When the Music Takes Me.”
Janet Drew, a parent and volunteer of the show said it was a success.

First launched more than 30 years ago and celebrated as the birth of the environmental movement, Earth Day rolls around April 22 and in Lethbridge it’ll be celebrated when organic growers from the region come together at The Galt (Museum) and offer up samples of their products, informing the public of the bounty available within reach of southern Alberta’s many small communities.

Garth Brooks performing at Calgary Stampede

The Calgary Stampede is thrilled to announce the top selling solo artist of the 20th Century Garth Brooks is stepping out of the Vegas lights to perform at the 2012 Calgary Stampede.  

CNW — Big Valley Jamboree, in partnership with Travel Alberta, is pleased to announce the Top 10 Finalists in the Small Town Saturday Night contest and the Crowsnest Pass is one of them.

Anyone who still hasn’t been able to get their hands on tickets to see Elton John live in Lethbridge, has one more opportunity which will help out a worthy non-profit organization at the same time.
The Interfaith Food Bank, based in Lethbridge, but serving southern Alberta, received two floor seat tickets to the concert taking place April 24.

Singer Trevor Panczak hitting that old road

Those are the lyrics inspired by the tragic deaths of Danae Gough, Jorden Miller, Clay Card and Renzo Dainard who died in a single-vehicle rollover last fall near Magrath.
