Artisans sale set for Sunday, Dec. 9

After successful Artisan Christmas 2011 and Spring Artisan 2012 sales, three southwest Saskatchewan artisans have again joined together to present their latest unique creations to the public at the Christmas Artisan Sale on Dec. 9 from 1-5 p.m. at Skyswept Designs Studio at the Entrepreneurial Centre, 885 6th Ave N.E., Swift Current.

SCCHS presents Roald Dahl's The BFG this weekend

Students in the drama program at the Swift Current Comprehensive High School are getting ready for a busy weekend of performances of their fall production, Roald Dahl's 'The BFG.' A favorite story for many students in the group, the play promises to entertain audiences of all ages.

After a bit of a hiatus, Swift Current Little Theatre is back in action. This week, the group held auditions for their upcoming spring production – Norm Foster's 'Old Love'. The play follows Bud's journey over three decades, to finally earn the love of the woman he is smitten with.
