Sask. Abilities Council thankful for donation

The Saskatchewan Abilities Council would like to thank the Ladies of the Royal Purple for their generous lunch of ham buns and cookies for all clients and staff on June 5.  Shirley Teilson, Swift Current Royal Purple’s Honored Royal Lady presented a cheque to Janet Dillabaugh, Regional Director in the amount of $200.

After 100 years of looking after people’s physical and spiritual needs in Swift Current, the Salvation Army is getting ready for its centennial celebrations from June 7-9.

An $800 donation from the Swift Current Kiwanis Club will be put to good use at the local SPCA.

Efforts by the City of Swift Current to develop a new economic development strategy for the community is receiving financial support from a regional business development agency.
