The Canadian Badlands, known for its stunning landscapes rife with ancient dinosaur bones, took centre stage when “Digging for Dinosaurs: Touring the Canadian Badlands” was named Best Online Video (Canadian and International) at the 2014 Canadian Tourism Commission Go Media Awards in Winnipeg recently.

The Swift Current Agricultural & Exhibition Association livestock committee organized a fundraiser to support the Rieger family after the shocking loss of Brian Rieger. A donation was given to his wife Jennifer (Kemick).

Quonset Days an outstanding family effort

It was just supposed to be a little get together with some friends and whoever wanted to come and act as a tribute fundraiser to raise some money for the ALS Society of Alberta, but now southeastern Alberta’s Quonset Days has grown into something huge — the self-professed but very arguable “Greatest Outdoor Party on Dirt.”
