When it comes to helping each other and looking out for your fellow citizens, southwest Saskatchewan has a great record.

Whether through helping neighbours who have suffered a tragedy, or donating to help a cause, we have a long track record of doing what is needed and doing what is right.
Right now, long-term care needs our support. Residents of long-term care need support and care.
The Cypress Health Region provides a place for them to live with staff who provide that care, and they are working hard to improve what is being provided.
The health region has looked into what residents of long-term care need, and what is most beneficial to them and they have designed a new home for them that is a vast improvement over the existing, aging, facilities.
They have looked at the way the staff care for and interact with the residents and have done a lot of research and planning to give the care-givers the ability to better care for the residents. Those needing long-term care place their confidence in the health-care system
The Cypress Health Region, in turn, has put its confidence in the Dr. Noble Irwin Regional Healthcare Foundation to raise funds to equip and furnish this new long-term care environment. The need is very real.
There are items in the existing facilities that can be re-used, and those will be brought over.
There are items that are required that the health region simply does not have, items that can involve a lengthy ordering process, items that we need to order very soon with your help. The Foundation has committed to do our best to gather as much as possible to support these necessary purchases. To do this, we are putting our confidence in you.
The people of Swift Current and southwest Saskatchewan are caring people. They look after each other.
The reality is that all the equipment and furnishings of any new medical facility in our province are the responsibility of the community, (just ask Maple Creek about their new integrated facility).
The new long-term care home in Swift Current needs the support of all our residents. We need you.
These new long-term care houses will provide an excellent level of care for decades to come.
Who will you be helping? The neighbour who shovels your walk? Your co-worker? Your family members? Yourself?
It is a place we may all need eventually, and we can all help each other by making it possible. We believe that together we can accomplish this, we have confidence in you.
