South West Crisis Services pleased results of inaugural 50/50 raffle

South West Crisis Services (SWCS) is pleased to announce this quarter’s Quarterly 50/50 raffle event grossed $4,480. 


Monies realized will support programs and services; including the Safe Shelter, Crisis Line, Outreach Programming for Women, Men, Children, Youth, Families and Couples, Violence Prevention Education and Second-Stage Housing; continued community support assists SWCS in their quest to help build healthier individuals within abuse-free communities. 

“We are extremely grateful for the support of Kiwanis, businesses and volunteers who sold ticket, and individuals throughout the southwest who bought tickets.  Once again, “thank you,” said SWCS Executive Director, Heather Lennox.

Southwest Crisis Services would like to announce the 2nd quarter 50/50 raffle. 50% of sales go to Southwest Crisis Services 50% of Sales go to the lucky winner.  Tickets are sold from July 1st – September 12th for the September 30th draw. The third draw this year is from Oct 1st - Dec 11th, draw date Dec 31, 2015.


Cindy Penner was the First Ever Southwest Crisis Services Quarterly 50/50 raffle Draw Winner of $2,240.

Tickets are on sale at A.M. Delivery, J.B. Fish and Seafood, Pharmasave, Standard Motors & Tune–A–Matic Services, M & M Meat Shops and Maygen Louise Make-up in the Diovine Spa & Esthetics. You can also purchase tickets from any Southwest Crisis Services Staff or Board Member.

Lennox extended a big thank you to the very generous businesses that have offered to sell tickets for the raffle.  “Both the businesses who support us in this way and the many people who purchase tickets help make this fundraiser a possibility.”
