Swift Current pharmacist generously helps out on World Hypertension Day

Pharmacies across Canada participated in a nationwide blood pressure screening and patient education initiative on World Hypertension Day, May 17.

 

Swift Current residents were able to receive a blood pressure reading at Pharmasave by pharmacist Leah Perrault, who also provided them with information about hypertension prevention and control. Hypertension or high blood pressure is a silent killer and a growing health issue in Canada. The first step towards preventing and treating hypertension is to know your blood pressure.
