The Swift Current Parent Support Network has received a donation of $5,000 from the RBC Foundation, Aug. 23.

The money will be used to fund various family focused events hosted by the Swift Current Parent Support Network during the year, including a winter carnival in February, a family fun day in June, parent connection events, and the First Steps program. Pictured, from left, Swift Current RBC Branch Manager Jesse Kitchen presents the cheque on behalf of the RBC Foundation to Wayne Cormier, the executive director of the Swift Current and District Early Childhood Intervention Program and co-chair of the Swift Current Parent Support Network.
