Swift Current Broncos fans will be able to learn more about their team’s new strategic framework and ask questions about where the team is heading at a community interaction meeting next Thursday.

The Broncos will host the meeting on Feb. 2 from 7 to 9 p.m. at the Credit Union iplex auditorium.

According to Broncos Director of Business Operations Jordan Wall their board of directors have been working on a new strategic framework for the last year and a half with the help of a strategic consultant.

“It’s a way to announce to the community this new form of how the Broncos are going to be operating in the community from the board level to the operational level,” he said about the meeting.

They are hoping Bronco supporters from across the southwest will attend the event. It will also be an opportunity for new Board Chairman Liam Choo-Foo to introduce himself to the community.

He was appointed to the position in November when Al Stewart took on the role of governor.

Choo-Foo along with General Manager/Head Coach Mark Lamb and other staff members will respond to queries from fans during a question and answer session.

“We want this Bronco nation to be strong and prosper for many years and we want to make sure we get people’s input,” Wall said. “It’s kind of a rallying call to get everyone together and talk about the positives and move forward in a good direction.”

Fans can ask their questions at the meeting or submit their questions before time by e-mail to This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it .
